Houston's first women's sports bar, on the same property as Pearl Bar.

What it's known for

Side Peace is Houston's first women's sports bar. It opened in February 2025 and stands on the Pearl Bar property at 2811 Washington Ave. The idea is simple: women's sports get the screens. Games are shown every day from 5 to 10 PM, and once they finish the room turns into a dance bar, so one stop can cover both the game and the rest of your night.

Crowd and vibe

It is a good place to watch a game with people who actually care about it, whether that is basketball, soccer or anything else on the women's calendar. The crowd overlaps with Pearl, but the focus here is on the screens until the games end. It suits groups of friends and solo fans alike, because a shared game gives you something to talk about straight away. Being next door to Pearl means you can move between the two without getting back in the car, which makes it an easy add-on to a Pearl night.

Side Peace shares Pearl Bar's site on Washington Ave, and Pearl says the property has accessible parking. We could not confirm separate opening hours beyond the daily game window, so check with the venue before a late visit. There is no separate website that we could find, so pearlhouston.com and Pearl's Instagram are the best places to look for news, big games and watch parties. Check the screens schedule if you are coming for one particular match.
